Why Stonewall on Stonewall?
On June 28, 1969, patrons of the Stonewall Inn in New York City rose up against police harassment, sparking the modern movement for LGBTQ+ liberation. Fifty-seven years later, we gather on our own Stonewall Avenue to honor that history right where we live.
This is a day to reclaim the name andto fill our street with joy, remembrance, and community. We'll celebrate how far we've come, recommit to the work ahead, and show our neighbors what pride looks like on Stonewall Ave.
Bring your family, your friends, and your full self. Everyone is welcome.

Get Involved
There's a place for everyone on Stonewall Ave:
- Screenprinting begins at 4PM — bring a shirt or tote and make your own Stonewall on Stonewall merch.
- Decorate for the parade — bikes, strollers, wagons, floats. The bigger and brighter, the better.
- Volunteer — we need hands for setup, cleanup, and welcoming neighbors.
- Spread the word — invite your block and share the event.
